Our Story

Change of plans:
reclaim motherhood.

When things don’t go according to plan…
When reality doesn’t meet expectations…
You find out how strong you really are.

I’ve been in your shoes

I remember the first time I got a positive pregnancy test. I sat down next to my boyfriend on the couch and told him we would be parents.

“I know a place where you can take care of that,” he said.

“I’ve taken other girls there before,” he continued.
Clearly, he didn’t want to have this baby with me. He scheduled an abortion appointment for me at Planned Parenthood, while I took out a credit card so I could pay for it.

He dropped me off down the street, and I walked in alone.

I didn’t fight for myself. I didn’t fight for my baby. I didn’t look for help or resources. I didn’t even call my mom.

That abortion salvaged nothing: not our relationship, nor my goals and dreams. Ultimately, it led me to take a job with Planned Parenthood, where I became the director of an abortion clinic.

I counseled thousands of women to have abortions and convinced them it was a ticket to freedom, but the saddest place in that clinic was the recovery room. We sent them home empty and in tears.

Nothing was empowering about that place.

One day, I was called in by the doctor to assist with an ultrasound-guided abortion procedure. In my eight years at the clinic, I had surprisingly never seen one on screen.

Prodded by the abortion instruments, the sleeping baby on the screen moved. He began fighting back. I watched in horror as the vacuum turned on, and his tiny body disappeared from view and was emptied into the canister. His mother, heavily sedated, never saw him. I was the last to see him alive.

At that moment, I realized I had been lying to women. I had to leave that job and help others who have worked in the abortion industry quit their jobs, too. I founded an organization called And Then There Were None to connect abortion workers with life-affirming employment and healing.

I also knew that I needed to tell women the truth, and this time, I needed to tell women the WHOLE truth.

Yes, motherhood is hard. Yes, pregnancy can be scary. Yes, there are so many unknowns to raising children, and there’s no handbook.

But within each woman lies an inner strength, given by a God who loves and sees us, that we at LoveLine can help you find.

The abortion industry has stolen motherhood from too many women. LoveLine is reclaiming it. We are here to help women be the best moms they can be while pursuing their dreams, showing them how to raise strong, healthy children, and building families that can overcome any challenge.

So, mama, are you ready to reclaim it for yourself? We are here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

With love,
